Germany's SEFE signs LNG offtake agreement with Canada's Ksi Lisims project.

Germany's state-owned utility SEFE agreed to purchase one million tonnes of LNG annually for up to 20 years from the planned Ksi Lisims LNG project in British Columbia. The deal was announced by Canadian Energy Minister Tim Hodgson alongside Nisga'a Lisims government president Eva Clayton. Shipments are scheduled to begin in the early 2030s pending a final investment decision on the project.
