A fire and two explosions occurred at a shipyard on Staten Island on Friday afternoon. One civilian was killed and 36 people were injured, most of them first responders. Two FDNY members were hospitalized with serious injuries after being hit by a shock wave from the second blast while searching for trapped workers.
