FBI offers $200,000 reward for former Air Force intelligence officer Monica Witt charged with espionage for Iran
The FBI announced a $200,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Monica Witt, a former U.S. Air Force intelligence specialist and counterintelligence agent indicted in February 2019 on espionage charges. Witt is accused of defecting to Iran in 2013 and transmitting classified information including the identities of undercover U.S. intelligence personnel. She had access to SECRET and TOP SECRET level information during her military service from 1997 to 2008 and subsequent government contractor work until 2010.
