U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro says ballistic evidence links suspect Cole Allen's shotgun to Secret Service agent shooting at White House Correspondents' Dinner

U.S. Attorney for D.C. Jeanine Pirro stated on CNN's State of the Union on Sunday that a pellet from Cole Tomas Allen's Mossberg pump-action shotgun was found intertwined with the fiber of a Secret Service officer's bulletproof vest, calling it 'definitively his bullet.' Pirro said Allen had 'every intention to kill' the agent and was attempting to reach and kill President Trump at the April 25 Washington Hilton event. Allen's attorneys have questioned what evidence the government has to prove he fired his weapon, and prosecutors have not yet publicly released ballistics test results.
