Cuban man dies in ICE custody in Georgia, suspected suicide
A 33-year-old Cuban man, Denny Adan Gonzalez, died in ICE custody at Stewart Detention Center in Georgia on Tuesday in what authorities suspect was a suicide. ICE stated he was arrested in December 2025 for domestic violence charges and had previously been deported but re-entered the US without documentation in 2022. Human rights monitors say this marks the 18th death in US immigration custody this year and the fifth suspected suicide.
