Robert Mugabe's son Bellarmine Chatunga Mugabe ordered deported from South Africa after pleading guilty to firearms and immigration offences
Bellarmine Chatunga Mugabe, 28, was fined and ordered deported from South Africa after pleading guilty to pointing a toy gun in a 2023 incident and illegally remaining in the country. His co-accused cousin Tobias Matonhodze pleaded guilty to attempted murder and other charges related to the shooting of a 23-year-old man at Mugabe's Johannesburg home on 19 February and was sentenced to three years in prison. The original attempted murder charge against Bellarmine Mugabe was dropped after Matonhodze took responsibility.
