Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby has taken an indefinite leave of absence to enter a residential treatment program for a gambling addiction, the school and player announced Monday. Sorsby had transferred from Cincinnati, which sued him for breaching a $1 million buyout clause in his NIL contract. He signed a reported $5 million deal to play for Texas Tech in his final season.
