Kevin Warsh appeared before the Senate Banking Committee on Tuesday for his confirmation hearing as Federal Reserve Chairman nominee. Warsh testified that Trump never asked him to predetermine or commit to any interest rate decisions during the vetting process. Trump separately told CNBC that Warsh would do a 'great job' and that the U.S. should have the lowest interest rate in the world.
