Singer D4vd charged with first-degree murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez
David Burke, 21, known professionally as D4vd, was arrested Thursday and charged Monday by the Los Angeles County District Attorney with first-degree murder, lewd and lascivious acts with a minor, and mutilation of a body in the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Her dismembered and decomposed remains were found September 8, 2025, in bags inside the trunk of a Tesla registered to Burke, which had been towed from a Hollywood Hills neighborhood. Burke pleaded not guilty and his attorneys maintain he did not cause her death.
