Former President Barack Obama and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani met in person for the first time on Saturday at the Learning Through Play Pre-K Center in the Bronx. The two read to preschoolers and led a singalong of 'Wheels on the Bus.' Obama has previously offered to be a sounding board for Mamdani and voiced support for the mayor's child care plans after the visit.
