Claude Guillemot, 69, co-founder of video game company Ubisoft, died in a plane crash on June 19, 2026, near La Baule on France's Atlantic coast. The twin-engine Cessna 421 crashed with two people aboard, both of whom were killed. Guillemot co-founded Ubisoft with his brothers in 1986.
