US and Iran exchange strikes in Gulf, testing fragile ceasefire.

US Central Command shot down four Iranian drones launched toward the Strait of Hormuz on Friday, subsequently striking Iranian coastal radar sites in Goruk and on Qeshm Island. Iran then fired seven ballistic missiles toward Kuwait and Bahrain, with US and Gulf forces intercepting six and one failing to reach its target. The exchange of fire strained a tenuous ceasefire as the conflict approached its 100th day.
